The Coalition for a Safer Albuquerque was formed in the Spring of 2020 to pursue two goals:
- decrease the number of law enforcement encounters with people who are not accused of committing a crime
- increase access to comprehensive and effective health care and human services.
Our purpose is to advocate on behalf of people who need safety from mistreatment by government officials and people who need more and better health care services and social services.
